Born in the United Arab Emirates in a conservative Emirati family, I always dreamed about creating delicious recipes out of my family heritage. Cooking has always been a very important part of our women's daily activities and I constantly was inspired by the wonderful women around me.

First I learned to cook our regional dishes, then I started to experiment with foreign ingredients and new cooking technics. It turned my food into something new, giving it a trans-national flavor and different textures. This is how I found my calling!

Since that time I was more interested in learning other country's cuisines and had decided to move to Paris for studying at the best possible culinary school. And here I learned the magic of French cuisine
