My Journey
Emirati woman with a lot of ambition and desire to change her destiny by choosing a profession that surprised many in her own country. Once Muna has decided to become a chef, many of her family members and friends would not understand such a difficult choice, still relying on some traditions and customs, where a lady would not necessarily need to take that difficult path.
But Muna was encouraged by that women-pioneer of her country that dare to be the first in many fields and areas. She has a passion, she has a vision. Her plan was to come to France, to learn from the best, and to conquer Paris with her unique understanding of fusion cuisine inspired by the Middle East and French gastronomy. And she successfully made her dream come true!
Once left behind her comfortable and luxurious life, she stepped out of her comfort zone and moved to Paris, because nothing seemed to be impossible!
- Against all odds, Muna felt the strong drive and inspiration inside of her self believing that she was in this world for greater things. With great determination, she focused all her energy on what she is best at and what she loved the most: cooking.
- Without any hesitation and with her own means she searched for entry-level job experience in different restaurants as well as enrolled herself in different culinary schools in UAE and for the past 3 years in Paris France obtaining the graduation diploma of one of the most prestigious Culinary Schools in the world “Le Cordon Bleu de Paris”.
- After her graduation diploma and work experience in 3 star Michelin Star restaurant in Paris, Muna decided to a private chef in Paris and transform the Culinary world of her home country by re-inventing Emirati culinary with a twist and the highest standards in the culinary arts. Her great experience and influence in the French culinary made Muna a very special chef bringing traditional Emirati flavors with her special touch.
